I served in the U.S. Navy for 14-years as a Navy Seal operator. During that time I was also stationed at the Naval Special Warfare Center as a Master Training Specialist. While at the Center I helped prepare military personnel to become members of our Navy Seal elite special operations team. It was during this time that I was first exposed to CrossFit. Being a Seal is where I learned the importance of intensity, hard work, and the necessity of the right training in order to meet the physical demands of military service. CrossFit reinforced those ideas and taught me the need for those practices to carry over into everyday life.
Since leaving active duty in the military, I worked as head of security for some of the world’s wealthiest Entrepreneurs until 2007; I decided to make CrossFit my career. CrossFit has become my life because I believe in the methodology and have seen the first hand benefit's it brings to everyone. I train everyone from youths wanting to maximize and prepare for their sport to people ages 70+ wanting to stay healthy.
I love CrossFit because it is not just about being fit, feeling and looking great, it’s about health, sport, camaraderie, and family.
