Workout of the Day (WOD)

Tuesday 6/19/12

Alright, remember the Little League picture I posted on last Tuesday. . . .I was a little disappointed that there was only one guess from DK.  Yes, DK you guessed right, McDirty aka James McClean was in the front row eyes closed.  The other little slugger was Scott T.  That’s right - first kid in the bottom row on the far left.  How nobody got that is ridiculous, he looks the same except he can deadlift 500+ pounds now.  However, this leads me to believe that perhaps maybe some of you don’t know who these people are and we can’t have that.  At CFIB we are a community that pushes, encourages, and supports one another inside and, sometimes, outside of the gym.  So I think its time for a little get to know you barbeque to keep our community strong and have some fun.  Keep your schedule open because this is going to be the go to event of the summer.  It will probably be on a Friday, it will probably be soon, and there will probably be beer, bbq, and yes . . . fun!  Ok, it's going to be July 6th......BLAM!!! Now the date is set.  Red, White and Blue apparel is encouraged.

Where's the barbell at?  Ohhhh there it is. 

Let's have a little fun with Tuesday and Wednesdays workouts.  I'm not going to give you the entire rep scheme or distances of either workouts.  I'll just give you pieces of each and let you wonder what's coming.

DO NOT tell other classes what the wod is. You will not know how far you're running (wednesdays WOD has running), how many reps or how many rounds you are doing until the wod starts.

Even though this workout video is sets of three on the hang power clean, Miranda still offers some good technique and demos of the the movement we are performing during the strength today.
