Workout of the Day (WOD)

Tuesday 7/17/12

First thing first, a little gym maintenance!  I've noticed that lately several classes are registered full however, not everyone shows up.  Just so you know, we know who you are and the time to stop is now.  This is the warning!  We haven't yet decided what the penalty will be for repeat offenders but if it comes to that, you will have left us no choice.  Maybe burpees, maybe a monetary fee.  The point is, DONT BE THAT GUY.  And Don't make me be that guy either.  Get registered or get on the waitlist.  If you can't make it unregister or text, call, or email.  That simple!   

We had a great time at the CrossFit Games.  We even stopped in to workout at Hey Day CrossFit in San Pedro, CA.  Great group; they were very welcoming.  We trained there twice while in town.

It was amazing the people we ran into at the Games.  Valery ran into an ex-boyfriend.  Cut off Jean Shorts, no shirt and headband.......when you have a look that works, why ever change it?

More CrossFit Memories. . .Erin was super excited when she ran into Bob Harper, trainer on the Biggest Loser tv show.  She actually shoved me out of the way to say hi to him.  She only called me over so she could get a picture with him.  Fun Fact:  Bob Harper said he will compete in the CF Open next year and see how he does.  He's going to be 47 next year.  Yes, 47!!!! 

Everyone worked out hard, a few people had plenty of drinks, but in the end it was a great time with friends.  Love was had by all.......Who's going next year?
