I know what you're thinking. "OMG SO MANY WALL BALLS, OMG SO MANY DOUBLE UNDERS, OMG MUSLCE UPS REALLY", after I'm done making fun of you for saying OMG then I'll let you know, it's not that bad. This is a fun CrossFit WOD, you just have to get your mind right and push through it. It's going to hurt, but all the WODs do. Just bite it off one chunk at a time and get it done.
Speaking of mentally persevering. Ian went to San Diego for a SealFit Camp, to be trained by a group of Former Navy Seals (yes Dan Cerrillo from CrossFit Bellevue was one of the instructors at the course and gave Ian special attention for being with CFIB, which probably isn't a good thing :-)). What is SealFit you ask?
SEALFIT was developed by former Navy SEAL Commander for the unique and specialized purpose to train people that want join special ops teams. It is designed to test and develop an individuals mental toughness. This is for those looking to become Seals and for people wanting to experience the physical pain and mental toughness it takes to be elite warriors – SEALFIT trains the body, mind and spirit to operate at an elite level alone and with a Team. Ian went 50 hours straight with zero sleep and had to perform under extreme conditions, wet, dry, in the sand, in extreme cold, in the ocean, under constant harassment from the instructors and perform as a strong member of your team to get the mission accomplished.
Nice work Ian. That takes a lot of heart and mental toughness to do.
So when you're doing 13.3, remember it's just 12 minutes of work. Fight for every rep, accept it's going to hurt and do your best to keep working through the pain. Finish this WOD exhausted with no regrets.
