Here it is, the final WOD of the 2013 CrossFit Games Open. It's exciting and sad at the same time. We will celebrate like we do each year, with a party that will run during the evening classes. The day classes will run as normal but from 4pm for the rest of the evening, we will run the WOD in heats. Once you're done, grab a drink, have a snack and cheer on your fellow athletes. If you completed the WOD during the day classes, come back and hang out. If this is a rest day and you aren't working out....come in anyway and hang out :-) Plus we will have a special event during an intermission tonight, more details below.
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 4 minutes of:
100/65 pound Thruster, 15 reps
15 Chest to bar Pull-ups
If 90 reps (3 rounds) are completed in under 4 minutes, time extends to 8 minutes.
If 180 reps (6 rounds) are completed in under 8 minutes, time extends to 12 minutes.
If 270 reps (9 rounds) are completed in under 12 minutes, time extends to 16 minutes.
*Masters 55+ Thrusters (65/45) Pull-Ups (Chin over bar/Jumping Chest to Bar)
Here are a couple of videos to help you with getting chest to bar pull-ups and a video from the Outlaw Way on gaming it if you're looking to get to the second round.
We are going to have a true head to head battle at CrossFit Interbay Friday Night during an intermission of the evening festivities. Jason C. is taking on Robert B.......HEAD TO HEAD!!!!!! These two amazing athletes will need you to pick a side. So when you walk into the gym you will see a white board with "Team Jason" and "Team Robert", you will write your name under the person that you think will win this heads up battle. The losing team will have to do 20 burpees, so choose wisely.
What's the challenge? They must eat 1 dozen Top Pot Donuts........FOR TIME!!!!! Face to face with the eyes of the entire gym watching them, they will do the opposite of what we preach every day about fitness, health and clean eating....but some times you must have a little nutty fun.
So who do you think will win? Below are some stats of these two fine athletes. Which team are you on? Team Jason or Team Robert?
