Workout of the Day (WOD)

Wednesday 2/5/14 "Victory Lap"

The Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl Victory Parade is today so it's only fair we do a Victory Lap in the gym.  We don't have to do CrossFit Surges WOD because the Seahawks DESTROMINATED the Broncos, but their WOD looked fun and they were good sports in doing our 12th Man WOD while listening to some classic Seattle  music.

Here is CrossFit Surge, I think they are wearing too much orange.

There is only one thing I don't like about their WOD, so it needs an edit. 

I'm giving it an appropriate name

"Super Bowl WOD"
WOD 1: "First Half.....AKA Put it out of reach early"
7 Minute 30 second AMRAP
3 Power Cleans 135/95
3 Front Squat
3 Shoulder to Overhead

Rest 3:30 "Half Time"

WOD 2: "2nd Half.....AKA Victory Lap Time, play everybody on the Seahawks, wave to the crowd and thank your mom in the camera"

7 Minute 30 second AMRAP
7 Thruster 75/55
7 Pull Ups
7 Burpees

P.S.  What do we do about someone in our gym that throws around big words and big bets.  CrossFit Surge did the 12th Man WOD Monday but what do we do with this big talker.

Malary:  "I'll participate with Crossfit Surge on this bet. I see your weighted vest and raise you a burpee pull up for each point difference"

Soooooo what do we do about this?  I mean Seattle won by A LOT.....I mean A LOT!!!!!!! Are we really going to make Malary do a billion-kajillion-million burpee pull-ups?
