It took me about a year of hearing two of my high school friends talk about CrossFit incessantly before giving it a try in January 2013.  Maybe it was part of a new years resolution I didn’t know I was making, but I was immediately hooked. I did dance growing up and played tennis, but I wasn’t always the most active person before finding CrossFit. I first started as a way to add some strength training to my half marathon training, but then it took over and running took a back seat. I will admit, I used to think CrossFit was kind of a cult addiction.. but I totally get it! The more you do it, the more you want to do it. The stronger you get, the more you know what you are capable of and the more effort you want to put in. I now feel weird if I don’t go a day without sweating. CrossFit has made me feel powerful and strong, and has also been a place where I have met some of my best friends.

I am excited to share my passion of CrossFit with others and watch them learn, grow and love the sport like I do.
