I was introduced to CrossFit in 2011 by my cousin who was visiting me for the weekend. We were watching it on his laptop and he suggested I try it. Walking into my first CrossFit gym I saw these lean moms throwing weight around like it was nothing. I was super impressed that they looked like what they did and still had busy normal lives. I was hooked.
After moving to Seattle, I was encouraged to take the Level 1 coaching course. I have been coaching ever since since 2013.
I grew up running with my dad, lifting some weights in the garage and joining local road races.
I am thoroughly addicted to the community of people around this sport. Love being a part of people changing their lives, functionality and mindsets. Nothing better then shared bonding over a workout 🙂
