Strength:  Backsquat week 2


50 KB Swings (55/35)
-Front Squats (135/95)
- Situps
50 Med Ball Slams

Ok, so I finished the Tacoma Marathon with a marathon training program of "only CrossFit". It can definitely be done but next time if I ever decide to run another marathon again, I'll add in some distance runs. Physically and wind not a problem at all, but at mile 19 my knees and left ankle really hurt.  It slowed me down a ton. I already have knee and ankle issues, which don't act up much in CrossFit, in fact CF actually strengthens them and has helped a lot of the pain and issues I've had.  However, that many miles on them definitely tested their limits. My Official time......."Completed" :)

Pre-race with my running partner Jake.  Jake also ran this with a training program of "Just CrossFit" he trains at our sister gym, CrossFit Bellevue.  I wouldn't normally say this publicly, but we're damn sexy.
