In case you haven’t heard, the 2012 CrossFit Open is less than a month away.

Why does this matter?  Because, whether you consider yourself a competitor or not, you should consider yourself an athlete.  CrossFit is your sport, so you should go out there and compete!  Compete against the clock and against yourself.

The Reebok|CrossFit Open is a 5-week online competition with one workout per week.  People all over the world will participate and submit their scores online (last year, over 26,000 people participated) for a chance to move on to the Regional competition – the second stage before the CrossFit Games world-event.

I know what some of you may be thinking…

“I have no shot at doing even remotely well, I can’t even do the prescribed weights, and I never Red Time the workouts…”

So what?  You should be thinking…

“What’s the harm in trying?  What do I have to lose?”  Because you have a LOT to gain.

Ask those that participated in it last year, it was a lot of fun and was talked about non stop.

Registration for the Open goes live on February 1st.  I hope to see a LOT of sign-ups for our gym.

20 Minute Hit Length: 2 hours (Hit will be during 11PM hour, probably around 11:30PM)


Well this video had to be done.  I blame DK (AKA DJ Holland) for not coming up with the idea first and having CFIB the gym that came out with it.  Still it's pretty sweet.
