Workout of the Day (WOD)

Tuesday 3/20/12

Here is something cool I have to share.  I got this from Dan:

I know you guys like to hear about your athletes so I better keep you up to date :)
Here's my 1st (hopefully not the last) trophy of this year.

The details:
It was a six hour endurance race in south east-ish WA, we ran a 3 man team. The track was 10 miles long and made up of a dirt track oval, MX track, high speed GP section and a small endurocross section, a real mishmash of all skills. We each did about 6 20 minute laps at high intensity. We finished just 2 minutes behind first place, not bad for a 6 hour race. But too close to not work even harder this year.

To add a little perspective, a supercross main event runs roughly 20 minutes.

Thanks Dan, You work your A$$ off so you definitely deserve these successes.
