Workout of the Day (WOD)

Friday 4/6/12

We have selected a team to represent CrossFit Interbay at the 2012 Northwest Regionals. Again it was tough to choose the final 4 men and final 4 women, we have a deep pool of people to pick from and I really wish I could send all of you to represent CFIB.  When picking the team I had to try and put together the best combination of skills.  For those of you who were in contention, Train hard for next year.  I already forecast that we'll see more of you qualifying as individuals and team. 

However even if you're not competing, you're more than welcome (and encouraged) to do the extra training with the team, help cheer them on, keep them fired up during training and get ready for regionals, the games, and next year.

CFIB Team consistes of 4 men and 4 women:

Men: Seth, David K., James McLean and Joey

Women: Megan, Valery, Taryn and Erin

Congrats!!!! Work hard and have fun.

P.S.  it is probably a good time to start brainstorming uniform ideas.   I'm thinking tiger print spandex.

Strength/Skill:  20 Minutes Power Snatch & Squat Snatch  (newer people practice power snatch those with CFIB longer establish 1rm squat snatch)

WOD:  15 Minute AMRAP

5 V-Ups

10 Wall Balls (20/14)

15 KB Swings (55/35)

Be a role model.  Make smart life choices for yourself and your kids.  80% of obese children become obese adults.  Stop the cycle.
