Workout of the Day (WOD)

Wednesday 2/27/13

Ok this is the last tip to not be the A$shole CrossFitter:

Embrace and respect your non-CrossFit Friends:  In other words, when you hang out with those people, talk about mutually interesting things.  Ridiculous as it may sound . . . I know . . . but not many people outside of CrossFit care about how many burpees you did in last night’s WOD.  Remember that guy in high school who walked around always talking about how much he benched? Remember how little you cared about his bench press after the 28th time he told you? That’s how some people feel about your Fran, Grace, Burpees, and Prs.  I like hearing it and your other CrossFitters do too, but I’m finding out that some of my day job co-workers and non-crossfit friends don’t want to only hear about CrossFit. 

CrossFit is about fitness, community and making yourself better - not what we discussed the past few days.  Talk about CrossFit, be excited & passionate about it, but Don’t be the A$shole CrossFitter.

I love that our members visit other CrossFit Gyms when they travel for work and vacations.  Did you ever think you'd join CrossFit and then plan time on your vacations around visiting another gym :-)  Here is Al dropping in and doing a WOD
