Workout of the Day (WOD)

Wednesday 12/31/14

We have a modified schedule today with our last class being the noon class.  Then we have one class on New Years Day to sweat out the night before, it will be at 9am.  See you there :-)

Strength:
12 Minutes of “Death By Strict Pull Ups”

1 Strict pull up the 1st minute,
2 Strict pull ups the 2nd minute,
3 Strict pull ups the 3rd minute and so forth…

Use bands as needed. If you’re strong with strict pull ups and want an extra challenge, try performing them with a KB or perform strict CTB pull ups. Whatever you do, stay completely vertical as you pull up (i.e. NO KIPPING).

WOD:
5 Rounds
5 Deadlift (Mx 225/155, Rx 315/205, FB 365/225)
10 Box Jumps (24/20 and you must jump up for Rx, Mx or FB, you can step down but you must jump up.  Now of course you can scale if this causes you any pain or discomfort)

Funny, this happened just the other day when I was getting my Hair Cut too and I jumped up and did the exact dance moves like the guy with the denim jacket and erin popped the dance like the girl in the orange shirt......True Story :-)
