Workout of the Day (WOD)

Friday 2/28/14 The CrossFit Open Begins Today

Today is the day!  If you watched the announcement live yesterday then you already know what the workout is.

Remember, we will run our day classes as normal.  The evening will be run in heats all night.  We will have a warm up for you to do on your own then get you into a heat.  Afterwards stay to cheer on everyone else and have some fun. 

After you complete each WOD, you’ll login to the CrossFit Games site and submit your score, so you can see where you stand against athletes from across the NorthWest region. With the click of a button, you can compare your results to those of Rich Froning, Julie Foucher, and all of your CrossFit friends across the world.  It's a great tool.  Remember, Remember, Remember, you have to submit your scores.  I cannot do that for you, I can only validate the scores you submit.  So do it as fast as you can after you complete a WOD......and remember your scores :-)

Congratulations CrossFit Interbay, this small gym in the Pacific Northwest just registered the most people in our region for the 2014 CrossFit Open.  This still boggles my mind but at the same time it doesn't surprise me because I know how tight our community is.  I almost don't care what happens from here on out because I'm so proud of what we've done so far to prove our community bonds......ok that's a lie, we have some lofty goals with our gym.  I want everyone to hit it hard, smash new Pr's and see how good they can do.  Plus, we have some members hat hope to qualify as an individual for Regionals and we hope to put a team in for the 3rd year in a row.  Regionals is the Super Bowl for most CrossFit athletes and I love seeing new people in our gym qualify to get in there and have that experience.  We have a few people that have done it multiple times but I really hope to see some new CFIB faces in there.
