Workout of the Day (WOD)

Wednesday 10/26/16

Hungry for more competition? That’s right we’re back for our 6th Toys for Tots Throwdown hosted by CrossFit Interbay and CrossFit Bellevue, scheduled for Saturday November 26th.  There will be an Rx Team Division and a Masters Division Team Division.  As we have every year in the past, we make the workouts very doable so newer people to competition can perform majority of the movements, if there is something they can’t do another teammate can usually do it or scale the movement.  This is a great event for newer people and seasoned athletes.

If you’ve been to our competitions before you know how much fun they are and we always put together a great group of WOD’s that test of your fitness.

CrossFit Bellevue is closing its doors and this will be the final event and workouts held at their amazing 15,000 square foot gym. Dan & Leilani Cerrillo have had their gym open for 8 years and are moving on to the next chapter of their lives. So they wanted to end their amazing run with a big bang. We will be making this a huge event and party to support an amazing organization with Toys for Tots and to celebrate Dan and Leilani's contribution to the CrossFit Community.

Registration is open now. This sells out every year and it's a fun event. Even if you can't make the event, many of the gyms participating and local businesses will have Toys for Tots bins for you to donate toys, so we can get them to kids in need during the holiday season.

We will need volunteers to help with judging for those that don't want to  compete but would love to help out.

Front Squat
15 Minutes to build to a heavy 3 Rep

5 Rounds
5 Clean & Jerk (Mx 95/65, Rx 135/95, FB 155/105)
10 Pull-Ups (Rx+= Rx Weight + C2B, FB = FB Weight + C2B)

This is a workout we did at CFBV over 5 years ago.  Erin and I are arguing on whether this would make a great finals WOD.
