Workout of the Day (WOD)

Monday 10/10/16 regular schedule all day

First, we have our regular schedule all day.

I think this will be tradition, Peter and Andrew make a bet with me about the Patriots beating someone and I win.  Quick tip when making a bet vs. pats fans, always ask them if they want to bet when the Patriots are beating some team.  We were texting when the Patriots were beating the Texans by a lot, then they said the Patriots would beat the Buffalo Bills by 20 points, so I made it a bet.  Obviously they lost the bet and the Patriots even lost by 16, so Andrew and Peter had to do 40 burpees wearing some Buffalo Bills Gear.

I have a feeling this will be a regular picture...............it's so early in the football season, what else can we get Andrew and Peter to do :-)

Strength:
5 sets of 3 reps Weighted Ring Dips
Then
Tabata Push-Ups

WOD:
4 Rounds
200m Run
11 Push Press (Mx 75/55, Rx 95/65, Rx+ 115/75, FB 135/j95)
200m Run
22 KB Swings (55/35)
200m Run
22 Lunges w/KB (55/35, Each leg = 1)

Funny story.

While Andrew and Peter were doing their burpees for betting that the Patriots would beat the Bills by 20 points, a stander-by Patriots fan, Cindy, listened in and asked why they were doing the burpees.  Here is word for word how the conversation went (or at least how I heard it)

Cindy: Why are they doing burpees in Bills gear

Me:  They bet that the Patriots would beat the Bills by 20 points

Cindy:  F*ckin "A".....the patriots will beat them by 50 points

Me:  The game already happened and the Patriots lost by 16

Cindy: Doesn't matter PATS RULE!!!!! They'll beat the bills by 100

Me: They already lost

Cindy: I would take that bet all the time, I bet the Patriots will beat every team every week by 20 points.

Me: So do you want to join them in the burpees

Cindy: F*ck yeah I do, PATRIOTS RULE!!!!!!

So you'll see midway through the video Cindy joins Andrew and Peter in the Patriot Burpees.
*Also I'm pretty sure Cindy had the entire conversation in a Boston accent.
