Now the Open is over we will start a regular training routine again. So this month and April we will continue our strength cycle so once May hits we will establish new 1 Rep Max's with a lot of our lifts and skills..
The squat, deadlift, and shoulder press have been the staples of any strong person's repertoire. Those who ignore these lifts are generally the people who aren't good at them. If you get good at those lifts, you'll get good at other lifts as well since they have so much carryover into other movements.
So let's train hard and establish those new 1RM's in May and let's lift some weights:)
8 Sets of 3 Reps @ 85% 1RM
10 Minute AMRAP
10 Push Press (Mx 75/55, Rx 95/65, Rx+ 115/75, FB 135/95)
15 KB Swings (55/35)
20 Reverse Lunges (No additional weight, each leg = 1)
I really miss 90s pop music. It's really tough to tell which was the better decade......the 80's or 90's.
