Workout of the Day (WOD)

Thursday 3/30/17

Congratulations to Robert and Jackie on completing and crushing the Big Climb.  This is the race that raises money to fund blood cancer research and support services for patients.  They raced up 69 floors, Robert completed it in 14:03 and Jackie finished it in 12:50.

Great work!

So how are your legs feeling this week?  YAY SQUATS!  Squats are considered the king of all exercises.  Studies have shown that the squat will also help strengthen other lifts.   We know many people don’t work out their legs, in fact before CrossFit Interbay how many of you seriously worked out your legs.  For some reason people just hate working out their legs and hate squatting.  Squatting is the first exercise you’ll learn at CFIB, since we know how important the squats are, I found this article that talks about squats that I think you all should read.
